He accepts that today is better than yesterday because of the toils and sacrifices of those who lived before him. He believes that our country’s progress and stature today is the result of our forefathers’ labors and sacrifices. A good Filipino is the one who cherishes the riches that God has showered on his nation. He works hard to utilize these resources, develop and conserve them for future generations of Filipinos.
