WELCOME REMARKS – FOUNDER’S DAY

My salutation to our honored guest, the reason why we are all gathered here today, Fr. Giorgio Licini, PIME, the founder of our institution, warm greetings as well to our highly esteemed, dedicated Principal, Ma’am Arlene L. Gente, Lpt, to the highly admired former teachers and staff of the school, to my fellow highly committed teachers, active PATA officials, supportive alumni, active SSG officers, dearest students, a great morning to all of us.

It is my pleasant duty to bid you all a warm welcome.

We are all here today to give honor to the founder of our beloved Notre Dame of Arakan, Inc. He is the person who is instrumental of the birth of our dear Alma Mater. Fr. Giorgio and the PIME fathers nurtured and assured the growth of the school. Aside from that, they have planted in all of us the seed of charity, humility and, love and dedication towards education.

That is why after knowing that you are coming home to Arakan, we cannot help but prepare a cordial welcome to you in gratitude of your continued guidance, inspiration, kindness and generosity. Father, see the smiles of everyone’s faces. To say we are happy is an understatement. We hope that you are gratified to see these familiar and new faces present today. From being a small school, we are now classified as medium school. And that we owe much to you Father Giorgio and the rest of the PIME fathers.

So today, all of the members of Notre Dame of Arakan, Inc. family are joining together in this event to honor you as its ever present, ever supportive Founder. Many of our peers and alumni have made a huge effort to join us today. Thank you everyone for adding color to this occasion. On behalf of my colleagues, I wish everyone a genial welcome. I am sure we are going to have a memorable and enjoyable time together.

Good morning and God bless everyone.
